Asher's technique in making this book helped to make it one of the books with the most interesting story structure I have ever read. Hannah's tapes was an enticing way to develop the storyline while addressing a relevant situation that happens in the real world; suicide. Reading this book seemed to highlight the importance of raising awareness about mental illnesses, but also about bullying and harassment - many things that young people are ashamed about. Life In A Fishbowl was one of the most unrealistic yet realistic novels *if that makes sense* I have ever read. This book broke the boundaries for what I thought was legal enough to occur! Naming the brain tumour 'Glio' was one genius idea, but selling a life on eBay to the highest bidder opened up another whole world of new possibilities.
